Super Bowl Ad Contest: Vote For CAREEREALISM!

Hey CAREEREALISTS! First off, we want to thank you for your readership and support for our little blog. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today! Second, even though the regular football season hasn't started yet, we're already preparing for the Super Bowl... As many of you know, Super Bowl Sunday (typically) airs the biggest and best commercials. Last year, a 30-second advertisement in the Super Bowl cost $4 million - a new record. OUCH. This year, thanks to Intuit, we have the once in a lifetime opportunity to run a FREE advertisement on Super Bowl Sunday. This ad will not only expose our little blog to millions of job seekers, career changers, and employees in need of our advice, but it would be pretty stinkin' awesome for us, too. (In fact, this is how we'll feel if we won...) Courtesy of Reactiongifs. Here at CAREEREALISM.com, we understand that “every job is temporary,” and our goal is to help YOU find career happiness – no matter your age, experience, or expertise. As a top-five career blog, CAREEREALISM offers FREE resources for anyone who’s looking to improve their career – or find a new one. We sincerely love what we do, and we’re always trying to find new ways to help those in need. Please help give us exposure to the millions of people in need of our services! When it came time to present the project at a meeting, Diane let her co-worker present. While it went great, the co-worker proceed to take credit for nearly all of Diane's work. Frustrating to say the least!

Starting a family is one of the biggest milestones in a person's life. It's in those first few months when a parent can really bond with their newborn and make lifelong memories. However, for some new dads, it can be difficult to juggle being a new parent while remaining dedicated to their career.

Fortunately, some companies have generous paternity leave policies that give new dads the ability to take time off of work to stay home with their child.

There are LOTS of questions around resume dos and don'ts. There's so much advice out there that it can be overwhelming to try and figure out what's the correct answer.

During our weekly live Office Hours on YouTube, two of our coaches, Ariella Coombs and J.T. O'Donnell, answer questions live from viewers related to their job search, career success, on the job situations and more.

We complied a simple list of what we find to be the most common questions our coaches get about resumes. We hope you find this helpful.
