Will My Boss Blame Me?

Dear Experts, A person I worked with at a previous company reached out to me about a job opening at my current firm. I enjoyed working with her in the past and she's very good at what she does, so I recommended her to my boss. Well, she did great in the interview and got offered the job on-the-spot, which she accepted. She was supposed to start the job tomorrow, but just e-mailed my boss, with me cc'd on it explaining that she has to decline the offer and is taking a different job that is better suited for her. I'm working remotely today (thank goodness) , and have no idea what to say to my boss. Do you think he'll blame me? My boss stopped looking for candidates and canceled interviews after he offered her the job, now he is going to have to start all over. What should I do?
