Dear Experts, I know I'm going to get laid off next week (don't ask me how I know). I'm thinking of going out on my own, but I'm married with an 18 month old. So, we need benefits. However, I know if I could get my healthcare expenses covered (the COBRA payment is too big), I could get enough work to get the biz going within the year.
