My Company is Sending Me to Communications Training - Are They Telling Me Something?

Dear Experts, I work in IT and the company I work for is sending me to a professional development course for communication. I feel the company values me more than my peers and also feel my communication abilities are above par as well. Should I see this as the company investing in my professional development or as a hint I need to "refresh" my communication skills?
