  4. Just signed up. As an adult with Asperger Syndrome (a variation of high functioning autism), I am more than looking forward to my future. One of the things I stressed in a recent set of interviews with one of the largest 200 privately held companies in this country was – was that I didn’t want to be treated by a manager any differently because I live with autism, but that I wanted to be treated as a valued member of the team. I have a totally positive mindset going into all of my interviews and future employment as an accountant, and know that one company will want to hire me.

  5. Even though I still have 1 1/2 years to go to my graduation, I wanted to look ahead and connect with people that are having positive experiences or at least a positive outlook on their work situation.
I believe networking with like-minded people is very positive and can truly move one forward. I am happy to join this forum and am looking forward to your posts.

    Thank you,

    Silke

    1. You’re way ahead of the game Silke. Thanks for signing up!

If there’s anything we can do to help you get even more out of the Happy Grad Campaign (or our site in general), just let me know.

  6. What a GREAT idea! I am the Internship Coordinator at the CNU Center for Planning and I want to share this with our students and get as many to join as I can! I am a firm believer in emphasizing the positive and empowering students to find “work that works for them”! Our recent data tells a different story that the gloom & doom media reports. Nearly 805 of our grads are working and/or in grad. school 6 months post-graduation. Are they all in their dream jobs? No–but they are getting out there and discovering options. Thanks, J.T.–I really appreciate your work! Claire
