For Job Candidates

Preferred Method To Be Contacted By A Candidate: Email Preferred Process For Following Up On Application: Email is always your best bet. Given the sheer volume of solicitors we get, a call from an unrecognized number may not be answered. Things That Impress You In A Candidate: Candidates that have "presence" always impress us here at LogMeIn. Can you code and communicate effectively while being a great, collaborative teammate? Yes-- we'd want to talk to you. Things Candidates Must Include To Be Considered For Job: Please include your address, email address, and phone number. Eliminating some of these pieces seems to be a common trend, but it creates gaps in registering in an ATS. Authorization status for gainful employment in the U.S. is also necessary. Things That Will Disqualify A Candidate From Getting Considered: Inconsistent backgrounds that can't be substantiated or cross referenced. If your LinkedIn profile and your resume don't jibe with each other, you may want to rethink your approach. Can Candidates Apply For Multiple Positions And Not Get Penalized?: Yes

Recruiter's Perspective

What's your favorite quote? “Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.” What do you like to do in your free time? Box, weight lift, watch movies, listen to music In a sentence, why do you enjoy working at your company? We have the market cornered on collaboration and innovation. In a sentence, how does your company have fun on a regular basis? Outings, freebies, perks, and a relaxed atmosphere is what makes LogMeIn great. In a sentence, how would you describe the employees at your company? We are innovative, collaborative, and team focused.

All work and no play can create a tense and unwelcoming environment. Studies have shown that employers that offer additional perks have employees that are happier and more loyal to their place of employment. If you are looking for an employer that acknowledges how important it is to give its employees a place to de-stress and bond with their co-workers, check out these companies!

When it came time to present the project at a meeting, Diane let her co-worker present. While it went great, the co-worker proceed to take credit for nearly all of Diane's work. Frustrating to say the least!
