I'm Entry Level & Afraid of Rejection

Dear Experts, Do you have any advice for someone who is scared to break out of their shell? I landed an entry level job about two months ago at a small company. I'm easily one of the youngest, if not the youngest, employees working in the office. I have a lot of great ideas but I'm afraid of rejection. I know I can shine in this job and offer more than what my responsibilities are. I just don't want to make a fool of myself in the process. Here is how our CAREEREALISM-Approved Experts answered this question on Twitter:Q#452 Meet w/manager you are closest to. Ask for their advice on the best way to start contributing ideas. This will (over time) greatly improve your confidence. (@EmilyBennington) Q#452 Give current tasks 110% (no matter how small). This sets the stage of trust so your ideas will carry more weight. (@EmilyBennington) Q#452Employers want people who will take risks. Being wrong is part of the process. Just be confident and you will be fine.
