Dear Experts, I've had several telecommuting internships, and I'm wondering what the best way to put those on my resume is. It probably would look a little weird to have two internships listed on my resume in two states nowhere near each other, while I live in a third state. Here is how our CAREEREALISM-Approved Experts answered this question on Twitter:Q#454 Simply mention they were remote working opportunities. Nothing weird about that. (@beneubanks) Q#454 I'd put them on. It's becoming more common these days. If you are worried, mention the telecommute specifically. (@gradversity) Q#454 List as: Intern, telecommute position, based in "San Francisco, CA" for a "Topeka, KS firm." Do same format w/ 2nd one. (@DawnBugni) Q#454 Reference in the summary section the telecommuting aspect of the internship. (@DebraWheatman) Q#454 For virtual internships/jobs, list company location and add "Work done virtually" (or along those lines). (@keppie_careers) Our Twitter Advice Project (T.A.P.) is no longer an active campaign. To find an answer to the above question, please use the "Search" box in the right-hand column of this website.
