LiquidPiston develops advanced rotary internal combustion engines based on the company’s patented thermodynamic cycle and engine architecture at their state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in Bloomfield, CT. Their combustion engines are compact, powerful, quiet, efficient, low-vibration, and multi-fuel capable, and are scalable from 1HP to over 1000 HP.

These engines are not Wankel engines; they're better. LiquidPiston boasts that their X Engine has "10x more power" and is "30% more efficient," improving on efficiency, weight, size, vibration, and noise.

LiquidPiston is currently focusing on military and aerospace markets but plans to enter industrial and commercial, marine, UAV, urban mobility, and automotive markets in the near future.
