March is National Social Work Month and this year’s theme by the NASW is “Social Work Matters.”

This infographic by the University of Southern California School of Social Work online MSW program aims to highlight the rapid growth in employment, give a sample of careers, and show some of the most famous social workers that made a difference in our world. If you’re not sure what the social worker profession is all about, read on.

There are currently 640,000+ social workers in the United States and the profession is expected to grow in the next few years.
